Mogens Aaby is a Board Member, Chairman and Advisor from Good Counsel ApS, through which he has been focusing on business-development, management and transaction-services (M&A) for the last 10 years. He holds positions as a non-executive board member and chairman with a number of companies and trusts.
Mogens’ extensive past experience includes 15 years with the largest Danish retailer – the Salling Group – as well as stints as CEO of his own food development company and with a small group of companies in the trade business.
Mogens Aaby holds a B.Sc. from the University of Aarhus.
Anne Mette Aaby Aaes is a Board Member, SVP Finance and part of Group Management at Norlys, the largest integrated telecommunications and energy group in Denmark. She has focused on financial services, mergers and acquisitions, business development, management, digitalisation and ESG in the last ten years.
Her extensive experience spans over 15 years with PwC as State Authorized Public Accountant. She has an MScin Business Economics and Auditing from The University of Southern Denmark.
Poul Leineweber holds a position as the International Purchasing and Logistics Manager at Zelected Foods ApS, Denmark. He is also a Board Member at Danish insurance company GF Fyn.
Poul’s extensive experience includes 40 years of global sourcing and international trading of timber products with the East Asiatic Company A/S (ØK) with several overseas postings; Dalhoff Larsen & Horneman A/S (DLH), where his last position was Executive Vice President of Global Trading & Sourcing; and as Board Member in several international and Danish companies.
Poul Leineweber holds a BCom in International Business from the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark.
Henning Lorentzen has worked in The Danish Dairy industry for almost 40 years in senior leadership roles at Arla as well as at MD Foods and at Kløver Mælk- one of Denmark’s largest dairy plants. He has also worked in the maritime sector as CEO of West Marine A/S and Nordhavn A/S. Today he is on the board of several companies, particularly within foods and logistics.
Henning’s areas of expertise include Management, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Strategy development and implementation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment and Construction projects, company turn-around, and teaching.
Henning Lorentzen holds a Master of Science (Cand. Lact.) in Dairy Science from the University of Copenhagen.
Rasmus Grønborg Bak is in charge of the overall management of DSHwood Koncern and its 45 employees. As CEO, he is responsible for communicating with shareholders, government entities and the public leading the development of short and long term strategy as well as creating and implementing the company´s vision and mission.
Rasmus joined DSHwood in 2017 and has broad experience at the highest management-levels in some of the largest companies in the Danish and Swedish Forest Sector including Orsted, HedeDanmark, Skovdyrkerne and Koberg Förvaltning.
Rasmus Grønborg Bak holds a Master of Forestry (Cand. Silv.) from the University of Copenhagen and the University of Göttingen, Germany.
Sten Fähnø Thomsen joined the DSHwood Group in August 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.
He is in charge of the DSHwood Group’s finance team which is responsible for the company’s strategic financial planning and reporting, business partnering, and treasury.
Sten has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and reporting with companies in the manufacturing, trading, and financial industries. He joined the DSHwood Group after his tenure with H. C. Petersen & Co. – a wholesale group distributing machinery and services to the Agriculture and Park industry in Scandinavia – where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2018.
Sten holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting), from University of Southern Denmark.
Kasper Kristensen Rask (Head of Group Logistics)
Kasper Kristensen Rask is responsible for all global Overseas Logistics functions, as well as supporting regional / local transport agreements, within the DSHwood Group.
He has an overall industry experience of 30 years in the freight forwarding industry, working for global freight forwarding companies like DB Schenker, DSV and Geodis, in different management positions.
Kasper holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Management) from the University of Southern Denmark. His areas of experience include leadership, people development, logistics, supply chain, strategy, commerce, and communication.
